City of the Future is an urban design podcast from sidewalk labs that I had really enjoyed listening to as I was trying to adapt to urban life in NYC. For my motion final I decided to create a motion trailer to go along with their season 1 audio podcast trailer (w/ permission of course). To create a cohesive language I used a color scheme that reflected their brand, Futura; considered the typeface of the future, a bouncing ball as the main motif, and ideas of building and construction that fit with the narration and sound design.
I really enjoyed this project and after contacting the hosts of the podcast they asked to showcase the trailer on their social media as well!
