Access Maps

Access Maps is a speculative augmented reality travel application for people who are in wheelchairs or are mobility impaired in any way; a "Google Maps" for accessibility.

After researching the everyday challenges of traveling locally for people in wheelchairs, especially in cities, I explored how an AR application and interface could be used to help guide travel by foot and create awareness of the inaccessibility and obstacles faced by this community every day.
